Seedling D3-N. Parentage: ‘Northrepps’ x ‘Strykylthorne.’ SEMI-DOUBLE TO BOMB flower form. Early season flowering. Large (20 cm, 5½ inches) soft yellow flowers shaded soft pink, 1 per stem. Fairly flat guard petals, occasionally notched, measuring 5 cm (2 inches) in width have small pink interior flares. Yellow, spatulate staminodes with small pink blurry edged flares. An average of 3 green, sparsely haired carpels with red-pink stigmas. Plenty of seeds. Occasional stamens with greenish yellow filaments exceed ¾ inch. Insignificant fragrance. Tallish 95 cm (38 inches) stems need support. A variety noteworthy for the ample dimensions and bright coloration of its early appearing yellow flowers.
