Seedling No. RAHS 49. Parentage not given. First year bloomed 2012, first year propagated 2013. Early midseason bloom. BOMB flower form, fire-engine red, 1 flower per stem, 4½ – 5 inches in size, up-facing presentation. A typical bomb form, ten guard petals, rounded, somewhat cupped, the inner petals somewhat frilled, otherwise neatly arrayed. Average of 3 carpels, green, moderately hairy. Stigmas light pink, normal anatomy. Stamens absent. Seed production not tested. Some fragrance. Early foliage green. Height to 26 inches (66 mm), upright growth, supplementary support not needed.
