Floriferous. 2-3 buds per stem, very good substance. 28″ height with excellent stem strength, blooms mid-season, disease resistant foliage, vigorous plant. Semi-double to double (30-50 petals) tree peony type flowers on herbaceous stems. Flowers are a clear deep yellow with small red flares that are not especially prominent. Large flowers up to 8″ in diameter. Many large side buds (1-2 per stem) that yield nearly perfect double rosette flowers averaging 5″ across, thus extending the blooming for up to 2½ weeks.
