(Nicholls, 1941) – Single – Scarlet Rose. Tall. Large, bright scarlet rose. Double row of petals. Stamens and carpels yellow. (#201 from Mikado) Bulletin 83.
Parentage: Hoki x Nissho. First bloomed 2004. Seven inch, semi-double blossoms are rich bright red (RHS 44B), with prominent maroon flares (RHS 58-A). Scented. Low broad growth habit, green foliage (RHS 138-A). Blooms mid-late season.
Parentage, line bred Bowl of Cream seedlings. First bloomed 1968. Double lactiflora anemone of white/yellow. Good substance, no stamens or pollen. Fragrant. Excellent reliability.
