I have received lots of seeds, species and hybrids from different sources this winter. Since it is too late to manage a full indoor germination with warm and cold stratifiation to get the first leafs this spring I was thinking of making it easy, just puting them into the ground outdoors in May/June.
But then I thought that I can start the germination now, and when it is warm enough I´ll plant the seed with root out in May/June. That way the plant get a longer first season. The question is if it makes a big difference for the root. Will it be much bigger, fatter? Anyone who knows?
