Have been growing peonies since spring 2008 when I got some peonies and loved the flowers. Since the start, I have only bought according to color and shape. Started with lactiflora mostly for the reason that they were on our garden and probably planted in the 50s. It has been difficult to get tree peonies to develop in our garden and because of that, seed sowing has been a natural part to try and today there are about ten tree peonies in the garden. Collecting peonies originating from Irene Tolomeo and now passed 20 of them. Have about 40 Itoh peonies and some seeds F1 and F2. There are around 260-280 varieties and seed plants of herbaceous peonies.
