Seedling V-264. Parentage: ‘Nilitz’ x P. obovata var. willmottiae. Anemone flower form. Early flowering, advanced generation herbaceous hybrid of medium height (38 inches (97 cm)) with medium-sized (5 ½ inches (14 cm)) light yellow flowers, two per stem. Guard petals to 3 inches (8 cm) in width. The pale but distinct yellow of the blossoms has a pleasing greenish lustre due to diffuse greenish flares. Self-colored, folded petalodes without streaks. Green carpels with white stigmas. No fragrance. Gracefully upright bush with pointed leaflets. Seed fertile. Named after the old section of Boston, England, where the great sluices separate the River Whitham from the Haven.
