Seedling D-411. Parentage: ‘Quitzin’ x P. peregrina. SINGLE flower form. Early midseason flowering. Vividly red flowers, one per stem, of medium size (12 cm; 5 inches). Rounded smooth-edged guard petals measuring 5½ cm (2″) in width have small white flares extending 3cm (1¼ inches). An average of three green carpels with white stigmas. Filaments are light red at the base becoming yellow at the tip. Pollen and seeds. No fragrance. Foliage shows peregrina heritage with narrow, indented leaflets set in lush profusion on self-supporting upright 85 cm (33 inch) stems. Medium-sized bush with excellent foliage.
