Parentage: ‘Multiflora’ (Gilbertson, 1974) open pollinated. Grown from seed from Canadian Peony Society Seed Exchange 2008, Lot #86. First bloomed 2015. DOUBLE pink flowers, 6½ inches (16 cm) in size. Three blooms per stem. Stamens, pollen and seeds. Height to 35 inches (89 cm). Named in honor of the women of the Joly-de Lotbinière family. A prominent Quebec family in the 19th century, their summer residence on the St. Lawrence River at Pointe Platon is now preserved as a spectacular garden park.
