Parentage: unnamed seedling of ‘Martha W.’ x AT:158-04 (Lutea Hybrid Gp seedling). First bloomed 2006, first propagated 2009. SEMI DOUBLE. Flowers are one to a stem, 3-4 inches in size. Dark pink to pink petals; inner petals usually with white flares extending ⅓ the petal’s length; outer petals with flares absent or obscure; flares may be entirely absent in some flowers. Stamens with cream colored filaments, no pollen. Carpels are green, smooth, normally 5 in number, surrounded by a partial, white sheath, white stigmas. No fragrance. Plant of upright growth habit, height 24-26 inches. Named for the wife of William D. Hoard Jr., founder of the Hoard Museum in Fort Atkinson, WI.
