Seedling RA-234. Parentage not known. DOUBLE. Floriferous and vigorous, early-mid herbaceous hybrid with very large 20 cm (8 inch), lightly perfumed, petal-packed double flowers. Cream-flared petals are a soft blend of pale pink, medium pink, and pale mauve, edged blush to give a silvery shimmer; pale green carpels with dark pink stigmas; good foliage; 95 cm (37 inch) stems are strong but need plenty of support in wet weather, some massive blooms being packed with more than 250 petals and petalodes; seeds uncommon but possible; plant thrives on being biannually disbudded.
