Flowers pink, on the outside paler, double, early; leaves mid large, regular of shape, pale green; height 90 cm, stems good to mediocre (usually somewhat too thin); number of stems mediocre to good. This cultivar which is by now 100 years old is imporant as a cutflower. In 1996 this cultivar took seventh place at the Aalsmeer auction, despite its only mediocre stem strength. This cultivar has also shown some susceptibility towards botrytis, although it should be noted that this disease appears less frequently on heavier soils. The plant can also be infested with root knot nematodes. This cultivar cannot be recommended as a garden plant.</p> <p> </p> </div>" href="">Monsieur Jules Elie.
