Seedling No: 2. First bloomed 1968, first propagated 2008. Early midseason bloom period. SEMI-DOUBLE flowers, 7-8 inches (18-20 cm) in size, one per stem are soft lilac-pink on opening, fading to white at maturity. Dark aubergine colored flares (RHS: 77A) extend about 30% of the length of the petals, with edges bleeding into the white background. Petals are large, generally rounded but delicately notched and ruffled. Partially developed aubergine sheath surrounds the average of 13 sparsely hairy, very light green carpels. Stigmas are soft lilac-pink and fertile. Pollen bearing stamens have filaments soft lilac-pink at the base and white at the tip. Very fragrant. Foliage emerges red, matures to green. Upright spreading growth to 79 inches (200 cm).
